What is Blended Learning?
A formal education program in which a student learns – at least in part – through online delivery of instruction and content, with some element of student control over time, place, path and/or pace. -Clayton Christensen Institute In simpler terms, it's the combination of the traditional brick-and-mortar classroom and online learning. *It's important to note that there are many aspects of blended learning. This site focuses on blended learning specifically in the K-5 classroom. According to the Blended Learning 101: Handbook, there are four models of how you can implement blended learning (p. 2).
